This week has flown by! On Tuesday I had an early dinner with my cousin at Lemonade. I love that restaurant. There are so many salads to choose from, and of course a few unhealthy options as well. Their french macaroons are amazing. With the weather being so beautiful we decided to head to the beach for a few drinks. Later this week I attended a book signing for Cupcakes and Cashmere. It was nice to meet Emily Schuman and get a little inspiration from her book.
This summer has been filled with events! I’ve had several birthdays, engagements, weddings, bridal showers, and engagement party’s to attend, and my oldest sister had her second child two weeks ago. This weekend I thought I would stick around locally and spend time doing nothing. On Friday night I began reading 50 Shades of Grey OMG! It’s been very interesting and unexpected. The next day I went to browse stationery from Sugar Paper. They have unique personalized items. Sunday I attended brunch with a friend, went on a hike, and began to organize ideas for the blog. It has felt good taking some time to catch up on things.

Cleaned and Organized Old Makeup to Recycle
Started an Inspiration Board for Autumn
This spring there are a lot of colorful trends. Pastels, neon, bright orange almost red (my favorite) and muted shades to pair with all the above. I have compiled my favorite nail polish in each of these categories.
